Breaking News: Stephen Crichton Signs Three-Year Extension with Canterbury Bulldogs

Canterbury Bulldogs fans have reason to celebrate as star centre Stephen Crichton has officially signed a three-year contract extension with the club. The deal, announced today, will see Crichton remain with the Bulldogs until the end of the 2028 NRL season.

Crichton, who joined the Bulldogs in 2024 after a successful stint with the Penrith Panthers, has quickly become a key figure in the squad. Known for his explosive speed, defensive grit, and game-changing flair, Crichton has brought leadership and premiership experience to a rebuilding Bulldogs outfit. His re-signing signals a strong vote of confidence in the club’s direction under head coach Cameron Ciraldo.

“This club has shown belief in me, and I’m proud to be a part of the journey,” Crichton said in a statement. “We’ve got a great group of players and staff, and I believe we’re building something special here.”

Bulldogs CEO Aaron Warburton praised Crichton’s impact both on and off the field, calling the extension “a major boost” for the club’s future.

With this move, the Bulldogs continue to solidify their long-term plans, aiming to return to finals contention and reestablish themselves as an NRL powerhouse.
