Got anyone whose been a Tennessee Titans fan for more than 20 years…

Yeah, I know a few folks who’ve stuck with the Tennessee Titans since they were still the Houston Oilers. One in particular—my uncle—has been a fan since before the move to Tennessee in 1997. He followed the team through the transition, stuck with them when they became the Titans in 1999, and still talks about that heartbreaking one-yard short finish in Super Bowl XXXIV like it happened yesterday.

For him, being a Titans fan has never been about winning. It’s about grit, loyalty, and the occasional flash of greatness that reminds you why you fell in love with the team in the first place. He’s watched every era, from the McNair and Eddie George days to the recent Derrick Henry-led offense. He’s been through heartbreak, long playoff droughts, and seasons that tested even the most faithful fans.

But he never jumped ship. He wears his Titans hat even in losing seasons, watches every game no matter how rough, and still gets hyped for each draft pick. For him, fandom is about sticking around—through the highs and the lows. That’s the kind of loyalty you don’t see every day, and it’s the heart of what it means to be a real Titans fan.
