Heading into Round 10, the Penrith Panthers are beginning to steady after a rocky start to their 2025 NRL campaign. Coach Ivan Cleary admitted earlier in the season the team was in “uncharted waters” following a string of uncharacteristic losses and key injuries, particularly the absence of Nathan Cleary due to a hamstring issue. However, the reigning premiers are showing signs of regaining their dominant form.
For Round 10, the Panthers have named a near full-strength squad. Nathan Cleary returns at halfback, bringing much-needed leadership and kicking precision. Jarome Luai retains his spot at five-eighth, with Dylan Edwards continuing his consistent performances at fullback. The forward pack is anchored by James Fisher-Harris and Moses Leota, while Isaah Yeo captains the side from lock. Brian To’o and Taylan May provide punch on the edges.
Rising star Jack Cole remains on the extended bench, as does Luke Garner, offering depth and flexibility. With key players returning and combinations starting to click, Cleary hopes the Panthers can rebuild their momentum and push toward another strong finals campaign. The coming weeks will be crucial as they face several top-eight contenders.
