The Canberra Raiders have officially launched their 2025 Indigenous Jersey, proudly themed “Uniting the Next Generation”, in a powerful celebration of culture, heritage, and community. The unveiling took place at Cuz Boxing in Belconnen, a fitting grassroots setting that reflects the deep connection between sport and culture.
Designed with the input of Indigenous players including Sebastian Kris, Xavier Savage, Jamal Fogarty, and Vena Patuki‑Case, the jersey showcases rich artwork representing family, totems, and ancestral connections. Central to the design is the idea of knowledge-sharing between Elders and youth, capturing the essence of unity across generations.
Captain Joe Tapine, accompanied by his wife and children, joined teammates and community members at the event, highlighting the jersey’s message of leadership and legacy. The jersey not only honours Indigenous traditions but also reinforces the Raiders’ ongoing commitment to reconciliation and Indigenous empowerment.
The 2025 Indigenous Jersey will be proudly worn during the NRL’s Indigenous Round, symbolising respect, recognition, and pride. It is now available for purchase, giving fans a chance to wear their support and be part of the story.
