Wales and Northern Ireland played out an entertaining 1-1 friendly in Cardiff. Jamie Donley gave Northern Ireland the lead in the 22nd minute after meeting Justin Devenny’s cross, scoring his second international goal. The Spurs forward almost added another from Patrick Kelly’s assist, keeping Wales on alert.

Hazard and Darlow both made key saves as the match remained open until the final whistle.

Northern Ireland nearly snatched a late winner, but Callum Marshall’s header rattled the crossbar.
