In a heartfelt tribute to one of motorsports’ most iconic figures, Eldora Speedway has officially unveiled a life-size bronze statue of Tony Stewart. Crafted by renowned sculptor Lou Cella—best known for his works honoring legendary athletes—the statue captures Stewart in his signature post-race pose, celebrating a career that has left an indelible mark on American racing.
The unveiling took place during a special ceremony at Eldora, which Stewart has owned since 2004. Surrounded by fans, fellow drivers, and industry figures, the event honored not only Stewart’s achievements on the track but also his pivotal role in promoting grassroots racing. The statue stands at the entrance of the historic half-mile dirt oval, greeting visitors with a powerful symbol of Stewart’s legacy.
