Tensions flared at the track this weekend as NASCAR star Chase Elliott publicly criticized a cameraman for what he called “wildly inappropriate” conduct involving fellow driver Joey Logano. The incident unfolded post-race, as Logano was exiting his car in the pit area. According to Elliott, the cameraman invaded Logano’s personal space, aggressively filming him at close range despite clear discomfort from the Team Penske driver.
“That’s not how we treat people,” Elliott told reporters. “There’s a line between doing your job and completely disrespecting someone’s personal boundaries — and that line was crossed today.”
Eyewitnesses say Logano appeared visibly annoyed, turning away and shielding his face as the camera hovered inches away. While Logano declined to comment, NASCAR officials confirmed they are reviewing the incident and may speak with the media team involved.
