Bubba Wallace believes things are beginning to align at 23XI Racing, even if a win has yet to materialize this season. As NASCAR’s summer stretch kicks into gear, Wallace remains confident in the team’s trajectory. While short tracks were once his comfort zone, Wallace now sees intermediate ovals like Charlotte Motor Speedway as venues where he can contend seriously.

This shift reflects both his personal growth and the progress made by his team. Wallace has consistently run inside the top 10 and has shown improved speed and adaptability at a variety of track types. The chemistry with his crew and the resources at 23XI Racing — co-owned by Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan — are paying dividends, even if the results don’t yet include a trip to victory lane.

“It’s all about building week to week,” Wallace said. “We’re knocking on the door.”

With several key races ahead and momentum on his side, Wallace is focused on staying consistent and poised for that breakthrough moment. He remains optimistic that the elusive win is close — and when it comes, it could signal the beginning of a strong second half of the season for both him and 23XI Racing.
