Doueihi? Sloan?: Panthers CEO comments on transfer rumours…..
Penrith Panthers CEO Matt Cameron has firmly denied that the club is pursuing either Adam Doueihi or Tyrell Sloan, telling journalist Peter Lang of The Western Weekender that “neither Doueihi nor Sloan is on the club’s radar” .
Over recent weeks, both players had been frequently linked with a move to Penrith—Doueihi, in particular, after being left without a contract for the 2026 season, and Sloan following a turbulent run in 2025 with the Dragons, where he moved from fullback to the wing and struggled for consistency . Despite that speculation, Cameron made it clear that they have no interest in bringing either player in.
In context, Doueihi remains unsigned beyond 2025 and has been linked to other clubs including Parramatta and St George Illawarra, while Sloan still has one year left on his Dragons contract . Tigers coach Benji Marshall previously suggested the club wanted to retain Doueihi, saying they had offered him a new deal but that details were now “behind the scenes” .
