In a stunning act of generosity, basketball legend Michael Jordan has donated the full $22.2 million needed to fund the renovation and expansion of the University of North Carolina’s basketball stadium. The move has shocked and inspired fans across the nation, reaffirming Jordan’s deep ties to his alma mater.

“Tar Heels pride lives in me forever,” said Jordan in an emotional statement. “Everything I’ve accomplished began here, and it’s time to give back to the place that shaped me.”
