Shaun Alexander is a legendary former NFL running back best known for his time with the Seattle Seahawks. Drafted 19th overall in the 2000 NFL Draft, Alexander quickly made a name for himself with his powerful running style, vision, and ability to find the end zone. Wearing the Seahawks uniform, he became one of the most dominant backs of the early 2000s.

Alexander’s most iconic season came in 2005 when he led the NFL in rushing yards (1,880) and touchdowns (27), earning him the NFL MVP award—the first in Seahawks history. That year, he helped lead Seattle to its first Super Bowl appearance in franchise history, Super Bowl XL. Known for his consistency and nose for the goal line, he set multiple team and league records during his tenure.

He spent eight seasons with Seattle, amassing over 9,400 rushing yards and 100 touchdowns before a brief stint with the Washington Redskins. Off the field, Alexander is recognized for his strong Christian faith, leadership, and charitable efforts.
