The Indiana Pacers are reportedly exploring the possibility of acquiring Phoenix Suns superstar Devin Booker, a move that would create a formidable “Big 3” alongside Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam. Booker, a four-time All-Star with a $194.2 million contract, could be on the move as the Suns face serious cap constraints and pressure to retool after another early playoff exit.
For Indiana, landing Booker would be a franchise-altering move. The Pacers are coming off a promising playoff run, led by Haliburton’s breakout postseason and the addition of Siakam’s two-way impact. Booker’s elite scoring and playoff experience could instantly elevate the Pacers into championship contention.
However, the price would be steep. The Suns are expected to demand a package that includes multiple first-round picks, promising young players like Bennedict Mathurin or Jarace Walker, and salary filler to match Booker’s contract. Despite the cost, Indiana’s front office is reportedly serious about capitalizing on their momentum and surrounding Haliburton with elite talent.
While no deal is imminent, expect the Pacers to be aggressive this offseason. If they can lure Booker, Indiana could go from a rising team to a legitimate Eastern Conference powerhouse overnight.
