Round 24 of the NRL delivered plenty of intrigue as the Canterbury Bulldogs pushed the Canberra Raiders to their limits in a thrilling contest. The Bulldogs, who have been showing steady improvement under Cameron Ciraldo, came into the clash determined to prove they can match it with finals contenders. Their energy in defence and willingness to chance their arm in attack kept the Raiders under pressure throughout the game.
