William Gallas tells Arsenal to sign Alexander Isak instead of Viktor Gyokeres

 

Former Arsenal defender William Gallas has advised his old club to prioritize a move for Newcastle’s Alexander Isak over Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres this summer.

With the Gunners linked to both forwards, Gallas believes Isak’s Premier League experience and proven quality make him the better option. *”Isak is already adapted to English football—he’s quick, technical, and scores goals,”*l Gallas told Gambling Zone. “Gyokeres is strong, but Isak is the more complete striker Arsenal need to challenge for the title.”

The Swedish international has been in sensational form for Newcastle, netting 21 league goals last season. Meanwhile, Gyokeres impressed with 29 goals in Portugal, but Gallas questions whether he can replicate that in England.

If Arsenal are serious about closing the gap on Manchester City, Gallas insists they should pay the premium for Isak rather than take a gamble. Will Mikel Arteta listen? Only time will tell.
