Those were the heartfelt words of Luke Garner as he bid an emotional farewell to the Penrith Panthers, the club that helped shape him into the player he is today. After two memorable seasons and a premiership triumph, Garner has signed a lucrative two-year deal elsewhere, closing a special chapter in his rugby league journey.

Speaking through visible emotion, Garner paid tribute to the tight-knit culture and brotherhood he experienced at Penrith. “This place made me a better man, not just a better footballer,” he said. “I’m proud to have worn the jersey, to have played with such an incredible group of blokes, and to have shared moments that will stay with me forever.”
